Watched Zodiac last night. This is one overlooked film. It's about the search for a serial killer in the San Francisco area in the 70's. Based on true events. I was struck by its period authenticity. The way different police departments had to communicate. The way a newspaper functioned. There was no internet, no quickly looking through files and evidence to obtain information.
Davis Fincher really made a good film here. Great cast including Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr. and Anthony Edwards. I cringed a little when I saw it ran 157 minutes but was quickly taken in my the story and hardly noticed the time.
Trying to get my act together this morning. Got to focus on some writing. Going to the OSU hockey game later. They're playing Notre Dame and the Buckeyes lost a heart breaker to them on Friday night.
