A Good Workout Gets My Mind Going...

I was just having a conversation with a friend of mine and I feel that I have to post this somewhere. I swear that if George W. Bush wins our upcoming elections I will move out of this country. This is not a joke, not a threat (like that many people would care), but a promise. I furthermore state that if you vote for Nader and feel the same way ( Read more... )

Jesus, for such an informed rant you're wrong about one of your key points. If I vote Nader, and I probably will, and Bush wins I have every right to leave this country. This sountry still has that same ucked up electoral college that messed up the last election and led to the man who lost the popular vote taking office. Remember that? My voting for Nader had nothing to do with Bush winning. In fact, Gore won, motherfuck. It's the Supreme Court that led to this shit. So poo on your head!

Here's another little stat for you, the Republicans lost more votes to Nader than the Democrats did. So, stick that in your ranty pipe and smoke it, willya? =P

I'm sorry to tell you my dear sister that when it comes to the presidency its not the guy that broke the tape first that wins the race but the guy that's holding the medal at the end. Furthermore if you go back to the last election and look at the polls you'll notice the Republican votes that Nader won were in states that Bush had in aces. On the other hand two states (I'll look up which two in a bit) that Bush won would have gone to Gore if you broke up the Nader voters by strict party affiliation. Either one of these said states would have given Gore the electoral win as well as the popular one. I think Nicky said it best when he swallowed his pride during Christmas and said "I'll vote for whomever the Democratic party puts up for office, we can't have Bush in office again." And that was after he swore in the last election that he would never vote for a Democratic candidate that wasn't really a Democrat. Thus if your reason for leaving this country is that Bush was re-elected to office then you are right you have every right to ( ... )

As much as I love Nader's ideals, I can't see him being a good president. He lacks the charisma and all around communications skills.

I'd love to see him clean up his appearance and take some public speaking and speech and debate courses - then MAYBE he'd have a fighting chance.

(Voting for Kerry)

How can you even say that if you left the country not that many people would care? Shut the fuck up you know we'd all care and a whole fucking lot, I know I'd miss you. Furthermore, I've been saying that Bush is an idiot for the longest and you and I had more than one argument about the war in Iraq while still living at the house. What I'm trying to say is, vote for Kerry and hope that he wins, but don't leave the country.
