Happy Chinese New Years!

Feb 18, 2010 14:07

It's still Chinese New Years, so I technically am still on time, since this holiday spans over around fifteen days. Although my mom did tell me that most people only celebrate it for three days. That makes me wonder. What in the world do you do in those fifteen days? I'm sure there's some interesting explanation out there and wikipedia is bound to explain it.

I haven't been posting much just because college has been a bitch. Although I have less classes than before, taking only around 15 units, I can't help but feel overwhelmed sometimes. I hate it. I've always seen myself as a rather laid back person who takes things one thing at a thing, but sometimes I can't help but have panic attacks when I'm in college.

So midterms next week-- Monday to Wednesday. Biology + Developmental Psychology + Physiology.

Oh the fun. And this is ROUND two of the midterms. I still find it ridiculous how professors would call them midterms even though some of my midterms are scheduled two days before my finals. What's even more ridiculous is how much these midterms could be worth, but I can't do anything about that. That's why it's called college.

I swear I have a much hate/love relationship with the quarter system.

So recently... Well in the last couple of years or so, I've had a fascination with nail art and I figured I'll show what I did for Valentines. My mom didn't like how I drew black hearts though as in Cantonese it's called "Hak Sum," the equivalent of something like cold-hearted. Basically it's used in a rather evil manner. I had no choice since I already used the red as the base color. Oh well~ I already took these off already anyhow. xD
