Me, talk about sports? How radical! And yet, the Olympics are sports like no other sport. Except the sports that are in the Olympics. Or something. Anyway, blah blah, let's discuss.

( I think I said this two years ago, but hell, I'm nothing if not predictable. )

Astrida and I hav e been getting around the LOOKIT ME TALK ME GOT MICROFOWN bullshit by watching the Olympics on Spanish channels. They only chatter during events and since we ca barely understand them, we can tune them out.

I'm with you: more obscure sports, less bullshittery.

Even the Spanish channel shows the same boring jibbajabba sports. There's just less montage crap.

Is it too much to ask to let us watch the taekwondo guys beat the hell out of each other? Boxing gets coverage, why not TKD?

Being in Cali,we get several Spanish channels. They do show a lot of soccer though..

Oh, that's not fair. We stab Americans routinely on our own; why not let other countries have a go at it?
