I'm kinda tired and not quite back up to 'London Speed' after spending the better part of 2 weeks in Canterbury and Margate. The hussle and bussle of the Metropolis takes some re-adjusting to.
Still, my exhibition 'Scary Robots Ate My Puppy' was a success, so much so that it was extended for a few days for free! I didn't sell any paintings, but postcards sold fine. People seemed to have enjoyed the show, and that's what I use to gauge my success; people had a good time in my exhibition.
It wasn't just paintings, I also had some converted toys and customised water-pistols which made rather nice rayguns. The Gallery owner, Mark Downing has retained one of my paintings for the regular collection, so it will be on permanent display.
I'm showing again this November in Hackney as part of the Martyrs exhibition. I might have a few of the Scary Robots paintings in that show as long as they fit the title in some way.
I don't like London much these days and plan to move to Kent some time in the near future.
