Amusements
Living where I do, one has to make one's own amusements, altho' life can be funny enuf on its own...for example, I write to a (romantic) friend in German, and use the computer's Sherlock program for translations. (Lazy, lazy...) Then I have to proofread and correct it, or I end up saying the most ABSURD things! Yesterday he tried to write to me in English and I think HE used a translation program...(usually I am the one doing all the work) and I was in hysterics with statements like " you can speak like to me under horse" (still haven't figured that one out) and "your foto is Honor-blast"...well no doubt... Then I have to figure out what German word he might have meant to use, and look up alternate English meanings... I have it all but the horse bit, unless he meant "under the rose" because Ross is an alternate G. word for horse...doubtful. Still he writes very sweet letters...
