Scattered
It's an "open Winter" here...no snow! (Must have gone to Japan...) That is great, though I haven't been able to ski yet... Still sleeping off all the mincepies I ate over Yule...Somebody very sweet sent me the latest Harry Potter book, and I was kidnapped by it until midnight -- and I think the Half-blood Prince is still on the side of the angels... (OK I'm prejudiced). I have deer stew cooking on the woodstove, and it smells great...Juli's 1st birthday is the 10th and he is now 16 lbs... he caught a chickadee yesterday but he cheated 'cos it hit the window first... I told Jamie we're no longer seeing each other, but I don't know if he believes me...man, it was hard, especially as he was so nice about it.... Just got a roll of film developed (OK, I DO have a digital camera, but I prefer the photos that I can hold in my hand...ditto for letters over emails...) and surprise surprise it was all cat photos - damn I have to teach Juli to use the camera so I get pics of me too... Life is SLOW in the Winter!
