Lets do the time warp again!
So i went to school today, it was great...well, not really. Yeah my friend Jamall told that guy that someone wants to go to prom w/ him. I dont even want to go to prom w/ him, i want to go stag. Yeah speaking of prom, i just want everyone to know i hate it. But it's given me lots to do. Like my goal for the week is finding my friend a date to prom. It isnt really going that great, b/c she's picky and closed minded. I love her to death though, thats why im trying to help her. I ordered my dress today. It's cute. Yeah but i wanted to wear my combat boots w/ it, but its not long enough. I really like a lot of these vintage retro bands that are coming on the scene, but it has me a bit concerned. If all of the Franz Ferdinands, the bravery's, and the Hot Hot Heat's there are too many people looking back for inspiration and not forward. Music is all about forward movement. Its good to maintain some aspect of what started it, but its good to do something fresh. These artists are very talented, but i think they need to do something different. Grunge was something new, punk was new, new wave was new(hence its name)and they were all ingenious.
