There was another note at the door today, like the journal entry about the island's gods. It was another journal entry. According to that, the original shopkeepers here worked for somebody called "Lord Eden." Is that the same Eden who's one of the gods here? It's strange. I don't even know how that note got here, but maybe it was the same person

Chalk it up to island magic? I mean, Miss Ari probably didn't want us to see her diary entries... but it does make sense that she kept records too.

Your world sounds so different from mine. Lloyd, famous? I mean, he's nice, but... I dunno. He doesn't strike me as the "I'm gonna be famous!" type.

Could island magic really be the cause if the island's the one making problems in the first place? Maybe it's--I don't know, actually. Trying to think about it too much is starting to make my head hurt.

I kind of see what you mean about Lloyd, though. Everyone in Luin talked about him like he was some kind of legendary hero, but just last month he was dressing up like that Santa Claus guy and trying to get people to help hand out candy. Maybe it's something else about him.

...It makes more sense than Lloyd being some kind of bad guy, in any case. Yeah. I know that for sure.

No kidding. Nearly everything this island doesn't make sense.

Whoa, what? A bad guy? Yeah, I think I'll take "legendary hero" over that anyway... but neither of them seem to really describe Lloyd. He's always been a kind of down-to-earth guy for me.

It's harder to see him that way sometimes, when I try to help him with schoolwork. I don't know, Lloyd is...he's not perfect, but he's a good person, and he really cares about people. I thought he was overrated when I lived in Luin, but now that I know him I actually admire him a little.

Makes sense. You didn't know him in Luin, right? Actually befriending someone makes you think about him differently.

... I kinda wonder if I'll think that way about Booster too once I remember more.

Yeah. I would have thought a lot differently about Lloyd right now if I hadn't gotten to know him before remembering everything that happened. In some ways I'm glad he was here, even though I know I shouldn't be.

But what are you saying about Booster? Did you know him before?

No one wants to be here, but... you know, the place kinda grows on you after a while.

Sorta-kinda. My memory's fuzzy on the details, but he supposedly kidnapped me in the past.
