(no subject)
There was another note at the door today, like the journal entry about the island's gods. It was another journal entry. According to that, the original shopkeepers here worked for somebody called "Lord Eden." Is that the same Eden who's one of the gods here? It's strange. I don't even know how that note got here, but maybe it was the same person who found the last entry.
Other than that, I realized that there's more I remembered a while ago that I should really write about, if I want to keep track of everything. First I need to remember the people I knew. There was Uncle Alba, of course, and Aunt Flora, my mother's sister. They took me in when my parents died. Aunt Flora liked Mom more than she did me, but she had reason to. There was the mayor, who didn't believe what I said but at least didn't seem to hate me, and Dida and Moll, who bullied me in Luin because they also thought I was responsible for the monsters. They really believed in Lloyd, which is more than I could say for myself. That's about it. I wasn't really close with anybody in Luin, at least for those first months.
And then Lloyd and Sheena--they're famous. There's statues of them in Luin, and the townspeople called them and some other people the heroes of regeneration. I don't remember exactly what they did, but I've talked with some people who know more and it probably has something to do with what Lloyd did with Yggdrasill. (Or was it the Giant Kharlan Tree? Lloyd said he helped the Giant Kharlan Tree grow again and renamed it Yggdrasill, but Professor Klarth said there were two trees. I'm not sure what really happened. I only know about Yggdrasill because Lloyd remembers it.)
Sheena also remembered a unicorn talking about somebody named Martel, and how he thought Colette was Martel. There was a Church of Martel at home, so I think Martel is probably a goddess of some kind, but I remember hearing that the Church was partially responsible for my parents' death. I don't really know much about either Colette or Martel, but if they're really similar then I don't see how Martel could have ever wanted what happened to my parents. Maybe it's possible that there was something wrong with the Church itself, so they did bad things. Or maybe I have it all wrong. This is all I've remembered now. I know a lot more compared than I did when I first started out, but there's still a long way to go. I know there's even more I've forgotten, so I have to keep hoping and wait for it to come.
