my review of the nativity

Dec 14, 2006 13:12

just got back from seeing the nativity

you must see this for Joseph
you must see this for Joseph
you must see this for Joseph
you must see this for Joseph

okay.  on to my review.  what's there to expect? keisha castle-hughes's performance was okay, but she only impressed me when it was somewhere in the middle until the end.  i still liked her as Mary though

there's this girl who stays beside king Herod a lot and she's so pretty.  look for her.  he and his son have nice hair.  haha

the three astrologers were the best.  you will adore them.  but not as much as you'll adore Joseph

i cried! yes, i cried.  not because i was sad.  but because joseph cried.  and Mary

time for Joseph.  hehe.  you get to see his and Mary's relationship in a more "human" and hm... romantic way.  it was really nice.  i mean, oscar isaac portrayed him in such a way that you will sympathize with Joseph and really understand what he's going through.  and not to mention love him to bits.  he totally made the movie

and you must see baby Jesus.  so cute! baby John was cute too, but not as cute as Jesus!

this must have been my most subjective review ever.  oh well.  it happens

the nativity, review
