More good stuff from this week.
So the wedding today was absolutely gorgeous! The bride and groom are both very musical, and in fact are both musicians themselves, so there was a lot of really great music! The choir sang, and God how I wish my own church choir sounded that good! Though Brigid told me that they don't usually sound that awesome because they're not usually that well rehearsed. Plus they had some extra voices. Then there was also a brass quartet, some drums for the Halellujah, a piano and a guitarre. Some vocal soloists and a clarinette too! And they all sounded really great! I loved the choice of music too. And apparently the groom actually wrote one of the pieces and arranged the others! Wow! The service was gorgeous too. A bit too Christian for my taste, but then it was a Catholic church!
I do have to confess to a small amount of envy though. I can only wish that some day I might be that blessed! She and Brad really do love each other, and have been together for years before finally deciding to get married. What a blessing!
The other really nice thing that happened this week was that my birthday present to myself arrived! Way back over the Holidays I ordered a Leroux Erik plushie, and he arrived on Thursday! And he's totally adorable! Mom thinks he's a little weird, but I think he's darling!
