So for Christmas, I was fortunate enough to receive a generous amount in gift cards to book stores - YAY! But I am WAY behind on recent releases and what's new and great out there, so...what have you guys read recently that you'd say is "can't miss?" If given the choice, I lean toward YA fantasy, but I'm open to anything. Help a girl out, will

I've been bad...on a friend's recommendation, I looked for Garth Nix's book Sabriel on a recent visit to the public library.   Sabriel wasn't there, but the sequel Lirael was, and having heard good things, I borrowed it, noticing as I did that there were a few other Garth Nix books on the shelf.  I LOVED it.  As in, had a very hard time putting it ( Read more... )
