Not Flying South
At least not yet. I didn't get the SD Zoo gig. I didn't think it likely but was kinda hoping. But my experience didn't quite meet their initial requirements and I think I botched the mock presentation part of the interview (too many nerves when there shouldn't've been any).
Ah well, at least I am more assured of work at my current job as they have said they will extend my position for a longer time. Who know's how long it'll be for this time.
Craziness abounds as the Waves project deadline approaches. No illustrating this time, just photo searches and graphic design. Not really quite as exciting.
On another note, I broke down and got Gargoyles #2 and #3. I was planning on holding out until they made the graphic novel, but ah, I really wanted to find out what happens in #3 since it is all new storyline and no, not disappointed. But comics seem so short . . .
Movies to look forward to: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (really wondering how they'll handle this one), Spiderman 3, Transformers (tho initial poster renderings make me wonder; I was really hoping for gen 1 style of bots, not the new style), Stardust (very much looking forward to this one), and I'm sure there's more . . .
