So the Aquarium's Holiday Market has come and gone and I sold 4 out of 5 2"x2" acrylic canvas paintings, which can be seen
here. I priced them low for my fellow coworkers. The poor little goblin shark stands alone and the dwarf cuttlefish ended up being the most popular. Print sales were dismal despite low prices and I only sold 1 of "Where's Waldo?"
Apparently the mini canvas style was a hit and people enjoyed owning a small, low-priced original. I would've done more, but I interrupted myself to decorate a pumpkin for the staff pumpkin contest, which you can see
here. Unfortunately, it was a week's work and against the stiff competition this year, I didn't win anything. Check out the other entries in the same gallery to see some awesome prize-winning decorated pumpkins!
Meanwhile, I'm back to doing a few more 2"x2" canvases for someone who commissioned a couple. At least this breaks my painting drought that's been going on this year!
