Probably creepiest thing a child has ever said to me.
This happened as the kids were getting off the bus and putting their jackets and backpacks away and getting little puzzles to do for the first 20 minutes of class.
Ethan: Hi, Miss Jane! I smelled your hair last night.
I asked him if he smelled it in a dream, because I was getting a creepy image of this 6-year-old sneaking into my bedroom while I slept all Edward Cullen-style. He just answered, "I smelled your hair on Monday."
Today is Monday.
This could either mean he smelled my hair last Monday, last night, or he's planning on doing it today.
I'm proud of myself for remaining mature and unruffled, and I responded quite gracefully, "Go pick a puzzle to do, Ethan."
