Get a tattoo
Leon and Teagan were occupied flipping through the thousands of tattoo prints that were showcased on the walls of the tattoo parlour, while Audrey desperately searched the room for an escape. With Leon standing dangerously close to the front door, that option was out of the question. The window grew more appealing to Audrey with everything passing minute.
During one of Teagan, and Audrey’s many club crawling nights, the two friends decided to get tattoo’s for Teagan’s 23rd birthday. Much to Audrey’s surprise. Teagan was dead serious. Not wanting to disappoint her friend, Audrey found herself glancing through tattoo prints. Leon came for moral support.
“Hey, look at this.” Leon called to Audrey, motioning for her to come over. Hesitantly, the young Rockette made her way over. Leon pointed towards a butterfly sitting in the middle of a branched out tribal pattern. Audrey made of face of displeasure, and shook her head. “Unoriginal. Do you know how many people have tattoos like this on their lower back?”
“If you don’t have a statistic, then don’t bother telling me.” Leon had this odd obsession with numbers, and since Audrey didn’t have one, she patted him on the shoulder, leaving him to his treasure hunt.
Audrey walked up behind Teagan, and glanced over her shoulder to see what she was staring at. She was mesmerized by a cherry blossom print. “Are you planning to get that?”
“I’ve been leaning toward getting this for a while.” The blond said with a nod, tilting her head to look at the tattoo from a different angle. It was bold, but she knew she could pull off.
“Where would you get yours?” Audrey questioned, as Teagan turned to face her.
“I kinda like the idea of having it trail up my side. What about you, Aud? What are you getting?”
Audrey pressed her lips together in a smile, shaking her head slightly. “You’ll see.”
Teagan frowned, and within minutes of giving the artist‘s their idea’s for their tattoos, the two girl were separated, and Audrey settled in the artists chair. “This is probably the most simplistic request I have gotten all week.” The heavily tattoo artist said, pulling out the equipment he needed for the procedure.
Audrey leaned forward and rolled up her pant leg, exposing her ankle, before she glanced at the paper that had her desired tattoo. Yes, it was simple, but it was exactly want she wanted.

When the sound of the electric tattoo machine filled the small booth, Audrey closed her eyes, and took a deep breath.
