The once ubiquitous Crocs styles itself as a car at an art exhibition.
Of course, it was only a matter of time before someone alluded to the obvious: a pair of Crocs forms the snarling jaws of this menacing Croc-odile (above left). But what was unexpected was this cartoon whale (above right), see how the artist has made use of the sling back strap to create the bottom jaw?
Note: All above art installation at the Esplanade underpass, September - November 2007. I recently dug up these photographs from my archives and was struck by the childlike imagination of the mind behind this exhibition.
