The clock in the sky is pounding away, there's so much to say.

It's been almost a month since my last post, which was probably a phone post, am I right? So, I guess I should say it's been over two months since my last actual post. I think I got to that point where there were so many things that I wanted to post about that I couldn't think of anything to say, if that makes sense. Or, I just got so overwhelmed at the sheer amount of things I actually wanted to post about that I avoided posting all together. That's why twitter is so easy for me to update. 140 characters takes absolutely no brain power (none of that "multiple topics" nonsense), and I don't feel like I actually have to have lots of things to say.

Also, the three bandombigbang fics that I betaed (somewhere around 180,000 words of final draft all told) didn't help with my desire to post at all. I am still in that stage where I am mentally betaing every fic that I read, which is super-annoying, let me tell you. I really wish there was a switch in my brain that I could turn off, so that I could just unsee typos (so many typos). D:

I think I'm really making this post right now so that I can just start posting again when the mood strikes me. To get over the hump, so to speak. I've actually done a bunch of things since my last post that I wanted to talk about (and there is an endless amount of video from shows to upload to youtube), and the idea of compiling all that is really daunting, tbh. I will probably do a mini-recap post in the next few days, and I will definitely upload my stuff to youtube, once my Internet connection decides to cooperate. My download/upload speed has been pathetic recently, probably due to my father downloading every episode of what feels like every show in existence--10kb/s is not an acceptable DL rate, nor does it make me want to face youtube uploading.

I've been doing fairly well with sleeping the past few days, which is amazing. I've actually been going to sleep (or, alternately falling asleep after tossing and turning, and passing out next to my laptop) and waking up at a fairly reasonable time. I don't know what's going on with my body, especially since I went to bed at 4am the other night and actually woke up before noon. A far cry from my usual "sleep at 6am, up at 5pm" that's been going on for the last few weeks. It's really weird, and I'm sure it will get fucked up very shortly, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth, so it's off to get ready for sleeping. Hope everyone is having a good weekend, and happy (end of) fourth to those who celebrated!

sleep, random, life
