God, Bones was so good tonight! I loved everything. The Gravedigger is a really interesting kidnapper, and I'm sure they'll devote at least one other episode to catching him. For some reason, I feel as though the dude who wrote the Gravedigger book might actually be the Gravedigger. I'm probably way off with that assessment, but he really rubbed me the wrong way, so something's got to be up with him.
And Brennan and Hodgins! Brennan has faith in Booth! Hodgins is crazy in love with Angela (Hodgins/Angela OTP!!)! All of their scenes were just wonderful, especially the awesome science-y things they came up with to help save themselves and the way they bonded and actually got to know each other as people, not just co-workers. I love the whole team aspect of this show; like Booth said if you got rid of one of them, they'd all be lost. The way they worked together to save Brennan and Hodgins was just awesome. You really see their individual strengths and the way they work together to make like the perfect investigative team.
And the next episode involves an urban legend, which we all know is like crack to me.
Man, I need a Bones icon.
Also, Day Break is awesome. Taye Diggs, Adam Baldwin, Mitch Pileggi, and one of my favorite cracked out concepts (reliving days, FTW!). It's like Groundhog Day meets Tru Calling, yo. I am very much looking forward to seeing out how everything turns out. I don't really have any theories or anything yet, but if it continues to be as good as the first episode was, I may end up having to talk about it more. I'm dying to know what was up with
Clayton Rohner in the police station (he was the crazy dude who freaked out on day one when Hopper was getting fingerprinted and then stared at him on day two when he was on the phone listening to his messages). I mean, he clearly had some importance since they focused on him twice. Plus, he was in the guest star credits at the beginning, which never happens to someone who has no lines. Hopefully he'll be back, since he's pretty awesome. He was in
one of my all time favorite 80's movies, after all.
At any rate, I'll definitely be tuning in next week (or whenever the next one's on).

Now to try and get some sleep, because I have a killer headache. Work, Tylenol, work.
