HTML!!!! (Picture me saying this a la Captain Kirk in Wrath of Khan)
OMG, I just spent three hours trying to code a simple table layout for Mom's store's website. All my HTML knowledge is gone! I still can't figure out how to get the text to line up properly within the table without putting it in blockquotes, but at least it is sort of working. The downside to all this is I was only using temporary graphics. When I viewed the thing after it finally worked the way I wanted, I realized the header is too tall. Ugh, this is so annoying. But I am getting paid for it, so yay! And another thing in the plus column is that I now have the urge to redesign my website, so that may actually get done. And I may update The Blue of My Oblivion too!
In other news, I've just spent the last hour chatting with someone I don't know on AIM (well, Trillian, but whatever). He IMed me because I was on his buddy list, and he didn't know who I was. I have no clue how I got to be on his buddy list, especially since we didn't go to any school together, but he doesn't seem like a totally crazy person, so at least I don't feel like I have to shower after chatting. It's one of those situations where I feel like I should know who I'm talking to, but even after seeing his photo on myspace (which I recognize from somewhere, argh!), I still have no clue who he is. Oh well. At least it wasn't one of those gross people who IMs you to ask what you're wearing or something. Ick.
Oh, well. I should probably go to sleep now, but I am absolutely not tired at all. I think I'll finish reading my flist, or maybe I'll redesign Mom's bookmarks. Or something. I will be back tomorrow with some sort of post, since I am spending the entire day doing cleaning type things (laundry, changing my bed, vacuuming, etc.) and will most certainly need some procrastination. Until then!
