She's a religious fanatic. Particularly of the Jesus-freak-fundie-christian-ignorant-about-life-but-think-they-know-how-to-fix-everyone-else's-problems-while-ignoring-their-own type.

A Catholic would be willing to understand that religious services are held more than one time of day on Sundays (hell every Catholic church I've ever been to had mass twice on Saturday evening, and four times on Sunday)

She's obviously not only not *aware* of Jews, but is probably prejudiced against them.

Same for Buddhists. She is lucky she didn't get ME on the phone, I'd have told her I was a witch and that her religion wasn't the only one legally recognized in this country so she should shut-the-fuck-up.

LOL

No, it's not you. It's definitely her. But do understand that NOTHING you could have done or said would have been any better way of handling it, and the only thing you can do now is exactly what you are doing -- LAUGHING your ASS off at her in PUBLIC.

People like this exist for one reason. To keep the rest of us amused while we move through what would otherwise be a very tedious existence. LOL

Haha, true. Oh, I didn't mention it, but when I told her I didn't know the name of the company president she was all "Well, then I'll call the store, they'll know." Um, no they won't. Just because someone works somewhere, it doesn't mean they know who owns the company. I tried to tell her they probably wouldn't know, and she goes "I'll find out. I've gotten names of company presidents before." Like this is some major feat or something. Plus, with that remark, you can tell she complains a lot.

I'm glad her complaint wasn't typical of the rest of my day. And everyone I told at work thought she was a moron, so I felt better.
