A few things on my mind.
1) The past few years I've tried to find an advent calendar without chocolates in it (I'm not a fan of chocolate). This year I remembered far enough ahead of December 1st and I could hunt about online. I did find one on amazon.ca and I had to laugh when I saw I could buy a used one for 1/2 the price of new. Who thinks to sell a used advent calendar?
Anyhow, when my calendar arrived in the mail, I was shocked at how many of my co-workers didn't understand an advent calendar without chocolates. They kept asking me what was behind the doors if not chocolate? I told them pictures, and they continued to be baffled. They wasnted me to leave it at work so they could see and participate in the window openings. Hahaha Nope. I brought that baby home to enjoy.
2) I was walking Fergus at the off-leash dog park today and saw an odd looking dog, so I asked the folks walking the dog what breed, and they said a Wire Hair Fox Terrier. A pretty forgettable interaction really.
Afterwards Fergus and I headed out on a rarely-used trail back to the car park, I heard someone walking behind me. It was the man, and he had hustled after me to ask me out for coffee. The lady he was walking with was his sister. He proceeds to tell me a bit about himself and then gives me his phone number, wanting to get together later for a coffee.
I found the interaction strange, and I'm not sure what to do. I'm really too shy, and I can't see myself calling him.
