Pets & Vacation
I really wasn't thinking clearly when I booked my vacation. Now that I'm closing in on trip time, I'm panicky. My brother hasn't said he would take Fergus and Néstlé for me.
So I'm looking into boarding both of my critters and I'm feeling completely anxious about not having them with me. I have gone on holiday before (not for 2 whole weeks in one go though), but my brother always watched them. They know him and I'm comfortable with that. Fergus has spent a day or two in boarding when I had to travel for work and Nessie kicked it at home alone. I don't think 16 days is viable for her to be home alone.
I've even started looking at what it would cost to take Fergus with me. I plan to do a fair bit of hiking, he could definitely accompany me there. *sigh* I need to get something in place and get it confirmed, because I'm getting myself more and more upset when I think about it.
Any of the boarding options I have are going to run me about $500, which is close to what I paid for my trip. Oi vey. Next time I need to plan my holiday when my folks are around and can look after the critters.
