A little late 'cause I was busy traveling and otherwise distracted the last 2 days. Happy re-chametzing, everyone!

Yes, I'm going with my mom for her birthday! She has always wanted to go, and never gone, and I decided that the only way she was likely to actually go is if she and I went now.

Then, since I can only take about a week off, I looked in some guidebooks and they all said "Really don't bother trying to see more than one island in only a week, because you waste too much time in transit. -- Unless you take the inter-island cruise." So I told her I thought that was what we should do, and she said "Oh, well, if you really think so!!"

do you worship in KJ? I thought they were all Haredim.

I don't, in fact, but I more or less work there ;-) They're not Haredi, they are Modern Orthodox. But I'm still impressed you know that!
