Update, like, for real!
Well, I finally broke down and got a Plus Account. I'm sure the advertisements would be annoying, but I have Adblock Plus installed on Firefox, so I just see where they are. I have a new, pretty layout and can have more userpics, which makes me incredibly happy.

In case none of you guys know, I have decided to become an archaeologist. I will probably aim for professorship, as it has a steady paycheck and you don't have to spend so much time waiting around for funding.
In June, I took the archaeological field school (six whole credits!) through the College of William & Mary, which is where I intend to transfer after I finish at Richard Bland (I just have one semester left). I'm going to major in anthropology, but take classes that focus more on the archaeological aspect. I really enjoyed the field school. It was hard work. Williamsburg, VA is very humid, so it tended to at least seem incredibly hot. I had never been so dirty and sweaty in my life. I also got a nasty sunburn, which made me decide that I am more suited to lab work, but that's OK. Cross-mending ceramics, etc. is pretty much like a giant puzzle, and I'm very fond of puzzles. I think this will be my kind of career.
I have an appointment to see the provost at Richard Bland tomorrow. We need to talk turkey about my credit transfers (or lack thereof) from other schools. Hopefully, I can get him to approve some of my South Carolina classes to count as electives so I won't have to take as many classes this fall.
