A bit belated (but then these seas are not the most stable), but I'm hoping the sentiment still carries regarding your relatively recent matrimony. I had a difficult time finding a genuine 1997 Dom. Romanée-Conti, so I'm afraid I only have these three vintages for the two of you, though they are still admittedly excellent, considering their source ( Read more... )

Windsurfing! Nice!

Calgara-san, the present I sent you should actually go well with that ironically. It's a surfer's wetsuit. I got your measurements from Robin.

I do! I love windsurfing! Aside from shooting and hang gliding it's my favorite sport. Have you ever done it yourself?

A few times. Since the Mediterranean was so close to home.

You look very well. It was a shame I never ran into you there.

Thank-you. I was always at my best in action I believe.

Indeed. It would have been interesting to cross paths once or twice. In a secluded jazz bar or some such.

Did you get the chance to windsurf often before your curse? Or even after it really.

It was a leisure activity I enjoyed that I didn't often get to indulge in.

Ah a shame. I'm hoping I can get the opportunity to do some again soon.

The jazz clubs too.

Well, if you feel yourself adequate to facing these waves, there's really no reason you couldn't.

I think I'm up to the challenge. I'm curious how fast I can get it going. It'll be hard to control but I love the speed. Not that I'm anything close to the world record but thirty-five knots is pretty good. If I can get to that again. Not sure I can but I'm certainly willing to make the effort.

And you?

It has much to do with the wind and waves, obviously. Start on a relatively calm day and work your way up.

Perhaps when I find the time.

Calm is for people who've never done it before.~ Me? I'm all for getting as close to a storm as I can without actually drowning.

Perhaps I can hold your interest for sometime in oh... June?

Sounds like a plan. Provided we're near an appropriate weather pattern. Of course, I may be a lot tinier then. But that's actually to my advantage.
