Like it says on the tin! Welcome to my archive of Life on Mars fics and other fannish wanderings. In each section, the newest fic is at the top. Most of my completed works are archived on Archive of our Own (AO3), which is where I'll be moving everything eventually, and where most of these links now point. I'm pretty sure I'm not pointing to any obsolete pages, but if you hit a bad link, please let me know.

Notes: This started out as a fill for my picfor1000 prompt, but the first draft sailed past the 1,500 word mark so quickly that I couldn't see chopping it back to 1K without doing serious damage to the story. The prompt photo, if you're curious, is here. (in progress, locked until completed)
There's a Land of Begin Again (AO3)

Summary: Sam jumps in 2006 - and wakes up as a 12-year-old boy in a 1950 hospital bed.
Notes: 21,660 words. Written for the 2011 Life on Mars Big Bang over at lom_bigbang. Sam & Gene (gen/friendship), AR but not AU, amnesia, angst, timey-wimey goodness. Warnings for secondary character deaths, a leetle violence, nothing very graphic in either case. Mild medical detail. And if you're pumped enough to watch the DVD commentary, it's over here. Summary: The trouble with French kissing is, you can't practice with a pillow.
Notes: 1,530 words. Written for moonclaw, as part of the Armed Bastards Exchange 2010 on martianholiday, using her prompt "Ray and Chris, first time or close to the first time, either in the office when they're alone one night, or after a few rounds at the pub."
