Home Alone
Chalain was at Mountain West Ruby Conf in SLC this past weekend. He shared a room with the conference organizer Wednesday and Thursday night. I had the house all to myself, if you don't count the pets.
I had planned to get a bunch of stuff done but I haven't been sleeping well so I decided to catch up on my rest. I did get the bathrooms cleaned. I treated myself to a movie rental, "The Help", which I really enjoyed. And I played way too much Flower Garden and Draw Something on my iPad.
Friday night I had dinner with Chalain and the Ruby gang at Spencer's Stakehouse. The food was very tasty and expensive enough to make this a one time occurrence. Chalain rode home with me. (The organizer's family spent Friday night with him in the hotel.) Chalain got a ride with a friend Saturday morning for the last day of MWRC. He came home exhausted and happy. I'm glad he's home.
