Hmph, again...
So the person who I vaguely remember marrying a few years ago and who I'm led to believe I still share a house with, emailed me at work yesterday to update me about when he's going to be away over the next few months. It would appear that he's going to be out of the country for 34 days between the last week of this month and the first week of July and that's not even counting all the other days he's going to be away at weekends or the evenings he has to spend going to tastings and MW study classes.
I knew about some of the trips already, though didn't know dates or exactly how long they were going to be, however he's just had a 9 day trip to Argentina added to the list. While I know these trips are important and will be very useful to him in his career, I am still not a happy bunny at the moment, I do not like continually being left behind. After all I have some distant relatives in Argentina, I'm sure they'd be only too happy to have a visit from the daughter of one of their cousins who I believe they might have met once when he was in his teens.
I want a pay rise and I want it now! Then I'd be able to use some of the 6 weeks holiday I get given to actually do something interesting for once and possibly see a bit more of that man who seems to turn up round about dinner time each night...
