*sigh*
Mum very kindly did some weeding for me yesterday while I was out at work. Unfortunately she pulled out my horseradish along with the weeds :-( Fortunately she realised what it was once she'd pulled it out, so she replanted it straight away, but one of the plants has no leaves on anymore and the other one only has one left, so I hope they survive :-( I had marked them with a couple of wrought iron markers, so I had thought they were fairly obviously not weeds, but the recent rains had caused a lot of other smaller plants to cluster round them giving a generally untidy impression.
Mum also broke the new toilet seat, though I think I have managed to fix it. Last time she stayed she pulled down the curtain rail in her bedroom. Do Mothers just have a knack at finding the weak spots in your house/possessions? I have this vague sense of dread now, and am wondering what will be the next thing to break...
