my first encounter with alcohol poisoning
yesterday was fun!
i started the day off meetin up with erin (aka rinz) from BU and her mom and older sisrer nikki. we went to this seafood buffet place called minado. amazing. afterwards i didnt know who else was comin out so i just tagged along with rinz. they were headin to southstreet seaport for the museum and some boatriding. so i ended up joining them on that as well. we took this small sailboat all around the hudson for two hours. in the process, i passed out under a perfect blue sky with minimal clouds and plenty of sun. it was very rejuvenating. afterwards we said our goodbyes and i went to midtown to meet up with june. by the time she got to the karaoke place (8:30), the rates had gone up from 4/hr to 8/hr. so we just bounced. we finally got to a bathroom and i mixed southern comfort with some OJ i had bought. pregaming, its called. we drank that while walking to the train station and we got a call from rachel so we headed to her place before the party.
we basically arrived and then headed back down to nissen's place for the party.
so lets see...i had two amts of soco with OJ, one (maybe two) screwdrivers, a tequila shot (with salt, and a lemon slice--not a lime slice), and 3 beers. my body rejected it though, after the weed. after that point my memory became hazy. there are patches i remember, from sitting on the floor puking in a plastic bag to steppin in a cab to walking 5 flights of stairs. i woke up at taylor's place, feeling absolutely horrible. june and i finally left, but i puked in taylor's stairwell. oops. got home and passed out. it was great.
