Seriously, dropping your child off at the school at 5:30am and picking them up at 7pm is not healthy for that child... from a teacher's perspective, from an anthropologist's perspective! Don't come to me with he/she is only acting out because of the other children. Can you spend more time with her/him? I'm not their mother! That's your job. You need to hug that child. Not tell them to get their things they need to go home and go to bed. It is my job to educate and my heart breaks when I see a child signed in at 6am on my attendance and I'm sitting behind with the secretary and principal on the night I volunteer to oversee after school calling these parents at 7pm to please pick up their children and then the parents come in obviously dressed in non work clothes, or buzzed like they've been out drinking. Shame on you. I'm not supposed to judge, but shame on you.
