Phone calls and happiness!!!!
i am so happy...i got a phone call from my granddaughter tonight (randy's daughter). first time i have ever talked to her. she is adorable. she talks fast and says "you know what?" over and over (she turns 5 on thursday). she calls me grandma melanie and told me "i love you". i asked her what her favorite color was and she said pink. i said mine was purple. she says "see? we're alike, they both start with p's". is that awesome or what? i'm so excited. she is very musically talented but her mom says she doesn't know where she gets it from....well WE do, don't we!!! i just wish chad were here cuz he was always so cool with kids and i know he'd be a great uncle. but now i have someone to tell chad stories to so his memory will continue on and on and on....to the next generation! YAY!
