Still here
Well Im still around, haven't been doing much lately. I'm off today (actually scheduled day off, not sick lol), and just lazing around the place and trying to take care of some stuff with my checking account (long story short, stolen check...police report, bounced checks...trying to get credit for overdraft fees and the near 2k stolen credited back to my account). The bank has agreed to all this, but they have this list of things that I have to do first like provide them with a notarized affadavit and the police report, etc. etc. Due to the fact that I haven't been working much over the last couple of weeks, and now the bank is taking their sweet time with my money, it looks like I'm going to have to cash out a CD and eat the penalty, which is fine, the rate was crappy anyways, just seems that my luck lately has sucked. I'm almost afraid to do anything for fear it will turn around and bite me in the ass.
Started the process to get my passport, and have my tickets for my mid Septemper Euro trip with hokiebear2000. Basically Vern and I are going to trounce around Europe a week before bubbacub arrives, at which point I'm flying back. I know we are hitting Amsterdam and Brussels for sure. So many places I want to see in Amsterdam... Van Gogh Museum, Heiniken Brewery (even though they don't make beer there anymore) I also want to hit some historic places, maybe some old gothic churches. I can't do the marijuama thing due to my proffesion, not sure I would even if I could, if I remember right...laugh, eat a whole lot, sleep...I can do that without marijuana. I could definately spend the whole week in Amsterdam. I'm sure there will be some opportunity for "uncut Euro cock" (Vern's describtion) and while I'm not going to say I would turn it down, it is totally not the reason I am going to Europe, way far down on the list.
Vern has been busily reasearching away on car rentals, hotels and various other things. He is like a travel agent on crystal meth....every day I get an excel spreadsheet in my inbox, it is a thing of beauty. I know I have a couple of people around those destinations on my friends list, would love to meet some people for a meal.
