Contacts and a Trip to the Infamous Knott's Scary Farm

Ahh! So, I had a full day today, which is much better than the last couple of boring days I've had. Anywho, I went in for my new perscription for my glasses and then I was informed that I was also getting contacts. So Brett had to sit and watch me attempt to shove contacts into my eyes. Hah, that was fun...not.

But after that Brett, Stephen, and I headed on down to Knott's Scary Farm for their Halloween Haunt, which we, of course can't get enough of. Naturally, we hit the Pirate maze first. I mean, who doesn't love pirates? But I didn't get to see like, any of the maze the first time around because a "pirate captain" threw his arm around me playfully and ended up escorting us around the whole maze. He kept trying to put his arm around Brett and then Stephen but they wouldn't have any of it. And he was trying to ask me where I was from but I'll be damned if I could hear him in that place so he resorted to asking me if I wanted to be his trophy wench. Crazy pirates.

Then we got lost for a while but we found the Gypsy Hide-away and got our palms read, which was sweet because it was free. The girl told me I would have one good, meaningful relationship. That sounds like me. *grumbles* Then she asked Brett if he was a flirt as she was reading his palm and he told her that he wasn't, in fact, a flirt but a whore. He gets three impactful relationships. And Stephen gets a steady career. Poor bastard, lol.

We saw this hypnotizing show that was really really crazy in that it was a Stella Short except without like, the good part. However, one guy was shakin' his booty and full-on grabbed his own ass hole. Impressive!

Then we saw another show which had half hilarity and sexual innuendo and half skimpy outfits and popular music to keep the kids interested. And by kids I mean other kids my age. I love the neurotic frontmen of the Knott's shows.

Also, I was wearing my "Chemists do it periodically on tables" shirt, which was pretty well received in general. While standing in line for some Killer Klown maze, some guy and his friend read it and one of them just didn't get it, saying something to the effect of, "Wait, I don't get it; is that supposed to be funny or something?" Brett and the kid's friend tried to explain it to him but even when he said he got it, it was pretty clear that he didn't.

Also, I got a caramel apple! Woo! We were totally carnivalling it up with our caramel apples and giant pretzels and phallic barbequed corn (Oh, Stephen, that's totally what we were laughing about the whole time). Seriously, my fellow Americans, leave your funnel cakes to someone who gives a rat's ass!

Edit (5 seconds later): And I got an arm garter while asking directions to a maze, which is great because who knows when one will need an arm garter!
