So, I was thinking earlier...and this drabble sprung out of my mind and onto my computer.
Dan stared wistfully at his profile in the full-length mirror, one palm lazily resting over his navel. He pushed out his stomach and sighed loudly, shaking his head.
“What are you doing over there?” Anderson inquired groggily from underneath the silky sheets of Dan’s queen sized bed.
“Anderson, I…I want a baby,” Dan replied, letting his stomach deflate back to its’ normal size.
Anderson rolled over, brow furrowed, and propped himself up on his pillow. He adjusted the blankets over his bare chest, idly resting his cheek on his hand. “You want a baby? I hate to tell you this, Dan, but you’re a man and this isn’t Junior.”
Dan emitted a dispirited laugh.
“Come on back to bed,” Anderson goaded gently.
Dan gave one last fleeting look at his body in the mirror before obeying Anderson’s wishes, sitting down on the edge with a little pout. He felt the bed shudder as Anderson scooted over to encircle his dark-haired lover. Dan’s sulky mood lessened slightly as soft lips made their way across his shoulders and up his neck.
He turned to look Anderson in his warm blue eyes and smiled.
Anderson grinned. “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again,” he cited playfully, quirking a grey eyebrow.
Dan’s smile widened and he let out a quiet laugh, kicking his feet up onto the bed. He twisted himself around to better kiss his sweetheart.
