Re: Community Membership
To anyone who has requested membership to my class and has not yet received it, this post is for you. I'm fairly certain that I have received e-mails regarding membership to this class, but upon checking the community's member list I realize that none of the people I have accepted have been added. This is just to let you know that I am not by any means rejecting those of you who have made a request; apparently LiveJournal has something against making membership easy. For now, I am changing the membership status of
ch_astronomy from Moderated Membership to Open Membership, meaning that anyone who wishes to join the class can do so immediately, without waiting for my approval. Just a reminder, though, that if you do become a member of the community through Open Membership, I would still like you to fill out the Welcome Survey, just so I can know who it is that I should add to the class roster.
My apologies to anyone who's been affected by this!
