That's ridiculous. Though I'm glad that the building head gets it. It'd be nice if people could be gracious instead of jerks.

I know! If I hadn't taken that call, I wouldn't have been able to talk to the insurance adjuster until Monday and it would have cost me more money because of the rental car insurance. I would have actually lost a ton of money to work in that building.

I'm with Highstriker, that is just plain ridicolous. Sorry that at least one person couldn't show a little gratitude for you going out of the way.

I don't think she gets it that I'm not falling all over myself to work there. I would so much rather stay in my own building.

Geez! Just goes to show that no good deed goes unpunished! What's wrong with that Amy-chick?

Amy's a miserable bitch? That's all I can think.

That does suck. Glad the supervisor sided with you.

I think the building head knew that I was just about to walk right back out the door and leave them way understaffed.

Man that sucks. Amy sounds like a problem creator and possibly has a personal issue with you. I call them the 'tattle tales' of the office, and they expound a huge amount of time on what they perceive as monumental personal affronts to their own work. UGH! As far as volunteering, you might cut back to save your own sanity.

I had my own small drama with annoying people who don't listen yesterday. Man, I'm so sick of my actor friend constantly complaining about lack of money, yet spending like he's employed. He also thinks that he knows everything about my side of the business because he's an 'actor'-I so want to tell him that the reason he doesn't get cast is because of his weight, and the fact that he doesn't come off like a 'team' player.

I've thought about talking to my boss and asking him what I should do. He'll probably tell me to go ahead and work at that branch for those shifts to help out the organization, but not to concern myself with the inner workings of their dysfunction. It does make me feel more appreciative of my own branch. The building head was telling me all about their new position. I don't know if she was trying to get me to apply in a round-about way or not, but there is no way I would leave my branch for that one.

I almost called you yesterday, but I had a wrong number programmed into my phone and couldn't find your number. I need you to email me anyway so I can get your address back in my address book.
