Yesterday afternoon they cancelled school for today, and you wanna know why?

The threat of some snow and freeze-over.

Nothing had happened yet! It was just the threat of it! And what was threatened wasn't even that bad! I lived in Michigan; I know these things. Sheesh. Pathetic weather cowards, the lot of them.

Gotta be quick, because I'm in free period at school and it's about to end, but here it is....

That first College Algebra test went fine. I got it back yesterday, and I had a 100 on it. :) My Spanish teacher took my notecards with just taking a few points off, and I did well on that test too, so I'm doing fine there in that class. I have all high A' ( Read more... )

Woohoo! Just what I always wanted....summer reading. I've never had to do summer reading before. The schools I went to all over the country never did that. This school, here in Louisiana, however, does. We have a uniform-ish dress code and summer reading. Yes, this was a school project. It's that thing I mentioned earlier, with all the Physics examples like Newton's laws of motion, kinetic and potential energy, friction, etc etc...Therefore, it's not a perfect music video. Oh oh oh! Remember that first Physics test?

*drumroll*

I got an A on it! Wahoo! It was like, motion and velocity and acceleration and such. Those two questions that I had no clue about, I actually did right. Go figure. Now we've moved on to vectors. *sigh* But at least I have my A!

Ugh. First Physics test today.

I don't know how I did, but most of it wasn't horrible. On one set of two questions I was like WTF?! and then on one other question I freaked out because I couldn't remember exactly how to do conversions right...oh excuse me, dimensional analysis.
