Oh Lord!
...It's been a month since my last confession.
FINALLY, Hoorah! My piece of shit US exam studying is over. I think I failed but then I'm told everyone feels that way.
My last month has been pretty uninteresting. I'll take this photoblog through 6 moments of it.
At the beginning of it, the now DR. Sam visited me from Chicago. We did chemistry degrees together and only thanks to her did I end up applying to study in Ireland. Always happy and smart to boot!
Most of my time has been spent until late hours in the study room at the hospital, trying to cram in 3-4 hours of study at the end of the day.
One Saturday while walking to the hospital library, I passed a suped-up car show at the RDS. It was funny to watch the stuffy drunks outside the Ballsbridge pubs have their garbled snobby conversations interrupted by ridiculous boy-racers, knackers and their gaudy autos.
When studying at home, every opportunity for a study break was taken, usually involving food preparation or at least use of the microwave. Here one sees an indulgence in a supermarket croissant joined harmoniously with Nutella.
And so I wrote the exam. I got home from the exam, defeated and dejected, only to discover 7 friends had entered my premises and were making me dinner, such a great surprise. I was also tickled by how many people bothered to text me 'Good Luck' the day before and strange how getting those messages from a few people really made me feel good. awww. anyway. post-dinner, I posed in a mini wearing clearly the newest trends in fashion (whole look purchased for 10 euro in Paris by the hautest of haut couturist of Ireland).
Last night, I met CYRUS.... we came into contact but contrary to my theory the universe did not collapse. Had this CYRUS not been a complete spa from Ohio who cut his hand opening a beer, I might have had to kill him out of competition. However, I still might have to dispose of him due to his draggin the good name down.
