there are people out there who swing both ways.. and perhaps for these friends of yours.. they seem to think that they like boys more in the past...
and perhaps with the influence from the people around them, they straight to think that they want to lead a more acceptable life and choosing the straight path might not be as difficult as you thought, cos they do get attracted to females..

that's a definition difference... to you .. "gay" means attracted to man and only man... but to many "gay" means that this man is attracted to man, whethere or not he is attracted to a wonman as well...

meaning.. gay is a subset of bi?? hahaha

i can declare that im gay; but there are instances that some women do turn me on and last year ive dated a transgendered M-to-F.

i'm not too sure.. cos i am totally not sexually attracted to woman..

perhaps if you can get them to share with you about themselves, maybe we'll realise that they can get the same kind of excitement whether it's with a female or with a male... definitely feels different, but maybe both are arousing in different ways to them... *shrugs* i think it's better the way we are... no need to decide on one of them and forgo the other
