ANCHORMAN: when a female enters a traditionally male-only news room, everyone freaks out, but no one suffers as much as will ferrel, for whom you will cry for, and who has the best scene involving an erection ever filmed. ( A )
I, ROBOT: angry robots revolt against weak and helpless humans while will smith and a rogue robot try to fight the system and put little black things into this big blue thing, which turns the robots' hearts from red to blue. ( B+ )
5 GUY MOVIES:
SWINGERS: this movie DEFINES what it is to be a guy, 'nuff said. ( A+ )
FIGHT CLUB: men beating up other men, cynical humor regarding every facet of human existence, the Pixies sing the end song, slow-motion sex, and I am jack's colon. ( A+ )
STARSHIP TROOPERS: men fighting giant insect alien bugs with machines guns and grenades, only the humans suck at fighting and blood and guts and body parts are spilled everywhere, except for during that one sex scene, oh and denice richards is in it ( C+ )
THE ONE: with a pumping angry rock soundtrack fueling the slow motion beat-down that jet li unloads on innocent people while fighting his greatest enemy, himself... this movie just smells like a guy movie. ( B )
ROAD TRIP: four guys on a trip to rescue a sex tape from being seen by the wrong eyes, all the while stealing a bus, partying at a fraternity, blowing up a car, and realizing that life is not about the end result, but how you get there. ( A- )
