this week, in my life

WEEK REVIEW

PROS: Amy-time, seeing a bunch of friends throughout the week, Sunsplash and the chaos that occurred there, getting closer to the end of the first summer reading, the meatball sandwich from Subway, kicking ass in laser tag and air hockey, buying the movie Swingers, the movie hop.

CONS: not knowing how to help in the Iven/Melanie situation, stubbing my toe, the hot weather, getting in trouble for “accidentally” falling out of the four-person tube, the week went by super fast, somehow always being the designated driver, waking up late for work Friday morning, the price of gas combined with the constant need to fill up, losing my sunglasses.

FAVORITE MOMENT: the stealth slide, in Sunsplash.

SOMETHING I WISH I'D DONE: had the perfect advice at the right moment, which of course would be highlighted with inspirational music and confetti.

SOMETHING I DID THAT I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN IN TROUBLE FOR: always rounding up to the nearest hour or half-hour on my timecard, whether or not it was logical or true.

SOMETHING I DID THAT SECURED MY POSITION IN HELL: stealing golf clubs from Sunsplash (I have three now).

SUMMARY OF WEEK'S EVENTS: saw a lot of my good friends, went to Best Buy with Sarah and bought 3 new DVD's (most noteworthy: Swingers), visited Lake Sugarpine with Amy for fifteen minutes, caught up on some Last Comic Standing, realized how bad things have gotten between Iven and Melanie, worked a lot at the coffeeshop, went to Sunsplash twice (once for golfing, once for Anne's birthday party), used free passes to do a movie hop (Anchorman / I, Robot), and got to play DDR a few times.

SCORE: 9 out of 10 (brought down only by the depressing situation of fellow friends)

SOMETHING TO CRY ABOUT:
There's a month left of Summer.
