So I just finally watched the new Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance trailer.
...so have you ever accidentally taken too much cough syrup or cold medicine or something, and gotten to this point where you suddenly realised you had no idea what was going on, but it felt kind of awesome, even though you were still kind of confused about what was going on and thinking it probably wouldn't be a good idea to do this very often? It was sort of like that.
Except... the trailer actually has finalised my decision to (finally) pick up a used DS as a Christmas present for myself, just so I can play The World Ends With You. I've heard almost nothing but good things about it, but I've always been a little bit wary of the DS because of the double-screen feature-- my brain doesn't like keeping track of a lot of moving objects in more than one place at a time. For something like a strictly turn-based RPG, that's one thing, but for something that actually is reflex-based... I don't know, I'll figure it out somehow (and I suppose I should get the hang of it if I actually want to play Dream Drop Distance, too).
