Fannish Appreciation Challenge - Challenge Recs
I ccompletely spaced out and missed Tuesday's challenge to rec five stories from challenges. Since I knew I wasn't going to get the full ten points, I decided to plan a theme for my recs. The theme I've chosen is unusual formats.
Everbody's Fool by z_rayne

This is in the format of fanfiction.net chapter summaries of a story where Rodney gets bit by bug and is turned into a sex magnet. I lauged when reading the summaries and had some very interesting mental images. There is also a part of me that secretly wishes I could click the reveiw button for chapter nineteen and demand request that the story be continued and that chapter twenty should totally be like Rodney/Atlantis.
"Wormhole X-Treme! II" by nindulgence
Stargate Atlantis, Gen. PG.
This time we have the IMDB page of the spin-off of Wormhole Extreme which was featured in the 100th and 200th episodes of SG-1. Like the previous rec, I'm both laughing and secretly wishing the page were real.

This is exactly what the title says it is with comments by John and Rodney. I find the whole premise completely plausible and one of the reasons I adore Rodney the way I do.
Silver City Risen by saphanibaal

The section in the book An Introuction to Galactic Opera, Volume II covering the opera Silver City Risen composed by Ha Sora. The entire first season of SGA described as an opera by Sora of the Genii. All I can say is that I wish I could get the chance to watch this opera performed.

The Atlantis version of Craigslist. This one most of the links do actually lead to additional pages. I especiallly love the haiku that can be found under rants and raves. This is also the one I wish most was real.
