He speaks awkwardly loudly and too slowly in case his voice needs to carry a long ways...that is until he catches sight of Guidenstern's "what is wrong with you" glare and begins to talk normally.]

Is there even a normal here...I mean even the palace wasn't this confusing.

That's what I said. Did you keep yourself locked up all last week? They were all over the place.

[A short laugh.]

Normal? Here? Who knows. One week it's raining toys, another it's sweltering hot, then it's Christmas in July...who knows what'll happen next.
