Did anyone freak out over our little earthquake the other day? It's been a while since I've actually felt one, gotta admit. Especially to the newcomers - first bit of general advice is to get used to the natural occurrences here.

The rubber ducks really are looking like the calm before the storm. Makes me concerned what we're going to have to deal with next.

Heh, it does. But it kinda nails in the whole "underground" feeling, too.

You know... I have a feeling we'd be lucky if it was just that.

It does! I still miss the sun on some days, though.

I always do. I miss being able to take a drive, too. Wonder how Miss Ladybug's holding up...

Heh, right. Didn't mean to rain rubber ducks on your parade, Ban. I guess we can only hope for the best and deal with what comes our way.

At least we've got souvenirs from this latest stunt - and they won't melt away, either. But yeah, best we can do is just that.

[Chuckles; there's a faint rustling as he snuffs out his cigarette.]

True enough. The snow was a nice touch. I wonder if we can get a replacement sun down here, what with all the crazy weather.

Oooh, sounds quite impressive.

The week of snow was definitely my favorite so far. With the luck we've had with weather, we'd probably get a Day-Glo moon instead.

She's a good one. Just wonder if anyone's bothered to try taking her for a spin since I've been gone.

... you know, that would actually be pretty interesting. I miss the moon too. Or maybe it's just the sky in general, though we have been getting clouds.

Heh, I don't think you'd have to worry about that. It's starting to look like we've technically never been 'gone' from our homes.

Yeah, but you can only take clouds for so long. I'd like to have a sunny day or a full moon every once in awhile, y'know?

...what d'you mean?

I definitely do! I guess we can cross our fingers and hope that once this green dies off, it reveals a moon or sun of some sort. Either one would be nice, I'm not picky.

It's... complicated, but during our time here, it doesn't look like any time passes back where we come from. A friend of mine recently came back and confirmed it.

I wonder if it'd be possible to have a controlled bonfire here if we ever get a moon. I know Alfred had a barbecue before, but hm.

Weird. So time just freezes at the spot that we left at, then?

You mean sorta like at the camp?

Looks like it. No one even notices that we were gone.

Yeah. Like that, but without the uniforms. [He chuckles.]

...well that's kind of a downer, but probably for the best, too.

Heh, having another one of those sounds like it could be fun. It wouldn't be against our will this time, too.

[She giggles a bit.] Don't worry, Ban. I'm sure they'd miss you if they knew you were gone.

Think we should plan for one, then? Or at least keep it on the backburner for now?

[Now he laughs, but it's followed by a short 'tch.'] Yeah, yeah. I think I know exactly how it's going over in Shinjuku without me.
