That can't be true.

Rem Koolhaas on the right...

...in Rubulad?

Was it really Rem Koolhaas the architect I talked to at Rubulad last night? How the hell would he appear in such a weird party space for a dinner on Sunday night?

I didn't ask his name when I talked to him, but strangely enough, he has a very strong accent, which is exactly what Rem would sound like as I heard from YouTube. The man had also travelled throughout various parts of China, Beijing, Shanghai and more. He also has pretty much the same haircut, and pretty much the same angled nosed, but perhaps a less intense pair of eyes. He also crossed his arms all the time. But he wears a red shirt. I asked Kara who the man was, and she said he was called Jonathan and he was a writer. A writer who travels all the time? But one thing for sure, Rem did wrote a lot of books, more so than he make buildings.

Strange indeed. Not that I really want to know him for anything, but it's rather fun to have a master you can talk to whom you think is somebody else. There is no freaking way it is true, but if it's true, this old man surely knows how to enjoy and use his time and I expect some very rad and exciting architecture in decades to come.
