I just wanted to show you some photos I took yesterday whilst taking a stroll along the Spree river... walked from Moabit towards Bellevue, then passed Hauptbahnhof and ended up at Potsdamer Platz. Some gorgeous views to be found, for sure!

Weather hates Berlin today. It is pissing down like nothing I've seen here before and it's windy and cold.

It is quite brilliant to have the cutest little cafe just outside our front door. The flatmates and I ventured down there for a quiet drink tonight and it was just lovely. The music was great - Franz Ferdinand and The White Stripes - and the drinks were reasonably priced. I guess the best thing is that it's 15 metres from our flat ( Read more... )

So! I definitely found a room to stay in until February. It's a nice quiet room in a very friendly WG in Moabit, with three guys and their lovely nerdy obsessions. I couldn't have picked a better one, woooo.
